TIME TO DECLARE SOUTH JAMAICA A DISASTER AREA AND DO SOMETHING

Yet another black person shot and killed in South Jamaica, AGAIN. According to the Times Ledger:

ShootingTeen killed in South Jamaica double shooting: NYPD

By Christina Santucci

A Cambria Heights teenager was killed and another teen wounded in a shooting on a South Jamaica street Sunday afternoon, police said.

Authorities said they were called to the shooting scene in front of 143-07 Lakewood Ave. near the intersection with 109th Avenue at 3:20 p.m.

Emergency responders then brought 17-year-old Khalil Bowlin, who was shot in the torso, to Jamaica Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, the NYPD said.

An unidentified 18-year-old, who had been shot in the leg, was also taken to Jamaica Hospital and listed in stable condition, police said.

Authorities blocked off the street Sunday evening with tape as they collected evidence in the rain.

An investigation into the killing was ongoing, authorities said.

——————————————————————-

This particular area is bad and keeps getting worse. Why aren’t our leaders doing everything they can to deal with this. This is a classic case of the “Broken Window Theory”.

Our leaders have done so little for this area and just allow it to continually fall into shambles (and let people live in these conditions) and then they think it will just get better by itself. This is what happens when you do not take care of small quality of life issues and ignore them over a long period of time, which is what has happened for years in this area. Garbage all over, garbage strewn abandoned homes and lots, falling down buildings, bad roads, illegal apartments, abandoned cars, poor zoning, no grocery stores, questionable delis more than likely involved in something illegal (most of the delis certainly have very few staples and seem to be hang outs for criminal activity).

I mean how can our local elected leaders, our church leaders, our community board, our business leaders keep turning a blind eye to this. Enough with bullshit like street naming ceremonies, play acting a homeless person,  photo-ops and of course corrupt behavior and shady dealings,  how about actually getting your hands dirty (the good way), doing some hard work and coming up with solutions. You know this area has a high unemployment issue, so why not get funding for something like a “Doe Fund” and put people to work to clean up the area, fix homes, maintain properties, etc.  Why are not all of you leaders working as a team and unit, it is all Greater Jamaica. The church leaders, including the Flakes, especially should be ashamed of yourselves for not calling our elected leaders out on their bullshit. Many of you church leaders say you do this and you do that, but look around, what exactly are you doing, because I see OPPRESSION.

There is no reason what-so-ever to keep letting this community go down and down, while you say you are doing everything you can because YOU ARE NOT!

What is the purpose of having a black president, a black media mogul (Oprah), filthy rich rappers (Jay-Z, Kanye West, Jamaica’s own 50 Cent), if black people and their communities are still being held down like this. It is an American disgrace that is as bad a stain as slavery.

Black oppression by our black leaders.

TO ANSWER A STUPID FUCKING QUESTION: NO, YOU CANNOT KEEP A CAR WITHOUT PLATES ON THE STREET

When checking out how people come to my blog, I check the summary of words, questions, etc that people search for such as “Is Jamaica ghetto” or “Who is the Councilman of Jamaica”. But the one question I see the most and probably one of the top ten dumbest questions of all times  besides “What is the meaning of Life” is this:

“Can you park a car on the street without plates in New York City?” Garbage 11.1.13 015

The unequivocal answer is FUCK NO ASSHOLE.

It is against the law to keep a car without any license plate on any street, period. It does not matter if you are leaving it there for the day, half the day, 15 minutes, you are selling it, whatever. You cannot keep any vehicle on the street without a license plate, period. Part B is you cannot keep a car covered on a public street even if it has a license plate, it is illegal in New York City.

So if you are some redneck backwoods hillbilly piece of poor white trash that kept junked cars on your trailer estate down south, THE ANSWER IS NO.

If you  are some third world immigrant from some shit hole country, where you take a shit in a hole in the ground and have no roads, THE ANSWER IS NO.

If you are some rich snob whose cousin is Mitt Romney, THE ANSWER IS NO.

If you husband is Jay-Z, THE ANSWER IS NO.

Now don’t ask that stupid fucking question ever again. Go back to asking “What is the meaning of life”,  “Was Noah and his ark really reall”, “Did Mary actually have a son without penis penetration” or “Does Vince Vaughn actually read his movie scripts before saying yes?”

ENOUGH WITH THE CLOTHING BINS IN JAMAICA AND OTHER AREAS: MAKE THEM PROHIBITED

clothing binsJust like the garage epidemic in Jamaica, those eyesores of clothing bins (with stickers all over them, overflowing and/or garbage around them) are becoming an epidemic in our community and all over NYC as well as the country. Like we do not deal with enough quality of life bullshit, we have to add yet another problem.

Growing up, I would see the occasional “Goodwill” clothing bin, but in recent years, bins of all kinds have been popping up in communities like bad weeds (tells a lot about the state of our once great country and that is another subject). Not only have they become major eyesores, some overflowing with clothing, others with garbage all around them, like the one that was illegally placed in the Auto Zone parking lot on Merrick Blvd, but many are not charities, but “For Profit” companies who in turn sell the clothes. Many are placed illegally blocking sidewalks and appearing on private property without the owners consent. Read more at: (http://www.dnainfo.com/new-york/20140329/crown-heights/for-profit-clothing-donation-bins-on-rise) and read the comment by Wade Larsen, who has written about this subject matter. According to the DNAinfo article, Brooklyn had the most bins removed of any borough, with 33 pulled. Eleven were hauled away from the Bronx, 4 were taken from Queens and none were removed from Manhattan, according to the Sanitation Department. But that does not mean Jamaica does not have a problem, it is just that residents in Jamaica are not reporting these eyesores and are being ignored like other quality of life issues in our community. Jamaica has a shit load of these eyesores that I see all the time everywhere, like that mess in the Auto Zone Parking lot, that has since been removed, but looked like it was dumped a few blocks away.

???????????????????????????????

If any legitimate charity wants to have clothing donated, bins must be placed on their own properties, people can just drop off clothing at their locations, charities can do pick-ups or they can work something out with local churches, but to just have these bins haphazardly placed anywhere in our communities is just bullshit.

And the big question, why would clothing bins be placed in lower economic communities to begin with, it is not like the people who live there will be donating clothes, they are more likely to be the receiver, so shouldn’t we then see these bins in well to do communities, like Park Slope, Brooklyn Heights, the Upper East Side, West Village, etc. That only makes sense. But of course those areas “want to help”, they just do want to see the shit in their communities. So yeah, dump the shit in Jamaica. This is total disrespect towards our community and ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

But what makes bigger sense is a law that prohibits these types of bins to be placed in any community period. Time to end another bullshit quality of life issue, especially with all the facts we now know about these clothing bins and some of the companies that are placing them.

So let’s add clothing bins to the list along with illegal dumping, uncovered garbage cans, abandoned cars, garbage/litter, garbage strewn vacant lots, garbage strewn vacant houses/buildings, illegal apartments, illegal curb cuts and slumlords.  The city cannot take care of the shit that is already a problem, let’s just add more shit to the mix.

So put his on your to do list, Katz, Comrie, Wills and the rest of the “stand there with your thumbs up your ass” crew saying what-me-worry

VACANT HOUSES/BUILDINGS: ANOTHER ISSUE OUR JAMAICA LEADERS DO NOT ADDRESS

Dangerous falling apart vacant homes with garbage

Dangerous falling apart vacant homes with garbage. Two homes are on each side of this, which has been like this for over 4 years. This right across from the 103rd precinct.

Our totally useless batch of local Jamaica leaders, who seem to busy being corrupt, trying to scam some money, doing something underhanded (Assemblymember William Scarborough, one of the latest) seem to never properly address the important quality of  life issues that affect the majority of Jamaica residents. They seem to skirt these types of issues constantly to play act a homeless person (Councilman Ruben Wills), waste time changing the name of streets (the horrible crime ridden South Road to Tuskegee Airman Way) or a million other lightweight bullshit that has no bearing what-so-ever on quality of life issues in our community. They just refuse to address these issues, focus on them and come up with permanent solutions. Issues they never address or say anything about except if a reporter sticks a microphone in their face and they have to say something. Problems which are major quality of life issues that have been going on for a long time in our community. I mean if none of you are going to address these issues, what is the point of even having you in office, why waste our tax payers dollars if you are not going to better the community.

The major garbage, litter and illegal dumping problem. NOTHING. The Thug Auto Body Shops scattered all over the community, some in residential areas, that leave their junked and unlicensed cars all over the public streets and sidewalks, leaking hazardous fluids all over. NOTHING.  Illegal apartments. NOTHING. Poor Zoning, NOTHING. Abandoned cars and boats all over our community. NOTHING.  If it were not for hard working and caring people like Bruno Iciano and his crew from DOS or The Untouchables (Sgt Cedillo and his crew from the 103rd precinct) some of these issues would go untouched because our local elected leaders are just standing around with their thumbs up their asses seeing how they can benefit themselves instead of their community they were put into office to serve and serve well.

Two blocks from me and next to two homes, this has been like this for several years. A disaster in the making.

Two blocks from me and next to two homes, this has been like this for several years. A disaster in the making. Also right across from the 103rd precinct.

And then there are the numerous unsecured vacant homes/buildings that litter our community. Vacant buildings that are not only eyesores and devalue property in our community, but buildings that become places for illegal dumping, criminal activity and places for vagrants to hang out in. It is not like our slew of nitwit elected leaders are not aware of it, the fact is they are not addressing a most dangerous situation. Not only are some of these buildings unsafe from years of sitting empty and not fenced off or secured properly, but they create health issues due to the enormous amounts of garbage that are dumped in and around them, the types of illegal activities that go on inside them and the potential for fire caused by vagrants living in some of them.

Typical South Jamaica

Unsecured, one just needs to go right through the basement window, where there is no window.

Another one of Will's District. South Road, which will be changed to Tuskagee Airmen Way courtesy of Wills. Why clean it up, just rename it.

Thankfully “The Untouchables” removed this vehicle two weeks ago. It sat for over a year and our leaders knew this. But the abandoned house is easily accessible.

Case in point, a one family home in South Richmond Hill is homeless as a three alarm fire destroyed their home, while 130 firemen got it under control. What caused the fire? A vacant house next door where vagrants have been going inside it for five years. So for five years, our leaders knew that this vacant house was not properly secured and was a haven for vagrants, but choose to do what they always do, ignore it. You can read the article at http://www.timesledger.com/stories/2014/13/richmondhillfire_tl_2014_03_28_q.html

Luckily, no one was hurt or killed in this fire, but a family is homeless because our elected leaders refuse to address yet another in a long line of serious quality of life issues in the Greater Jamaica community.

So tell me Ms. Katz, how many of these types of properties are near you in your neighborhood of Forest Hills? Please let me know. By the way your Deputy President, Comrie, is very aware of these, but being aware and doing something are two different damn things.

BLACK OPPRESSION BY JAMAICA’S BLACK LEADERS

From long time Jamaica resident and community activist Pamela Hazel:

We would like to be fair to our black leaders. The question is, are they fair to the black community?  Our neighbourhood still has major flooding, garbage galore, largest foreclosure, etc.  Team P/J has not focused on unemployment yet.  Our young black men have the highest rate.

Meanwhile Assemblyman Scarborough already requested $10,350 for expenses, just three months into the year.  We are not discussing his salary.

I feel ashamed to admit that some white leaders have helped the black community more.  Let’ s start with Senator Tony Avella. He even protested with team P/J in the pouring rain (https://cleanupjamaicaqueens.wordpress.com/2013/11/01/the-first-jamaica-quality-of-life-walking-tour-with-senator-avella-very-successful-more-to-follow/).
The  following photos are images of what blacks must accept from black leaders. We must never ever speak about the lack of services for fear that we will be accused of high tech lynching. ???????????????????????????????

The hell with that concept.  It gives black leaders the right to remain abusive to blacks.

These are the images of the predominate black community where our leaders are predominately black.

The fundamental question should be “WHY”, why do blacks suffer at the hands of blacks. OOOOh, no one should talk about, the black secret. But the alternative is to suffer in silence. NOT A SOLUTION TO PERPETUAL MISERY.

We are well aware that there are times when even the best efforts do not succeed. But we also have to ask our black leaders what serious efforts have they made.

???????????????????????????????Black leaders have not gotten together and have a grand protest against inequality on many topics. Black leaders refuse to investigate absent landlords like James Fobbs and David Landau. Black leaders have not pursued sanitation law breakers.  ???????????????????????????????

Councilman Comrie and the rest of his accomplices have demonstrated that they do not care. Some of them never and will never live in our neighbourhood.???????????????????????????????

Some of them have two addresses, the clean area where they live and a propaganda address to make-belief they live among us.

So Councilman and the others, as you prepare for exit, take a shameful bow at the devastation you leave behind.

Communities like Jamaica, which has been neglected is where effort needs to go.

Stay tuned or not

EVEN IF WILLIAM SCARBOROUGH IS INNOCENT (WHICH I DOUBT), JAMAICA’S LEADERS HAVE UTTERLY FAILED THIS COMMUNITY BIG TIME

Assemblyman Bill Scarborough talks to reporter Wednesday after news swept through the Capitol that the FBI raided his office. (Paul Buckowski / Times Union) I am sure his anus is puckering up real good.

I am sure his anus is puckering up real good.

As yet another Jamaica elected leader, Assembly Member William Scarborough, gets investigated (http://queenscourier.com/2014/fbi-raids-assemblyman-scarboroughs-home-office-reports/) and whether he is innocent or not (let’s face it, if the FBI is investigating, you did something), one thing is for certain, Jamaica’s leaders past and especially present have failed Jamaica miserably. Let’s face it,  if that was not the case this community would not be in the shambles it is, a major garbage problem that has never been properly addressed, garbage strewn vacant lots and abandoned houses, junked and unlicensed cars parked all over the streets and sidewalks, mostly from the Thug Auto Body Shops (though in the last two weeks the “The Untouchables”, Sgt Cedillo and his crew from the 103rd have been putting a stop to that, in no part to our leaders), illegal apartments, improper garbage disposal and bad over development that allowed 1-2 family homes to be torn down to to put up crappy low class third world apartments with absentee landlords. just to name a few.

I mean how do you explain these awful quality of life conditions in Jamaica for years, when some one like Scarborough  has served in the legislature for 20 years and was also Community Board 12 president as well. Just a few blocks from his office streets and sidewalks are littered with garbage and litter and auto shops have junked cars on the public streets.

Comrie's own backyard of St. Albans.

Comrie’s own backyard of St. Albans.

How do you explain this major garbage problem, one of them right in former Councilman Leroy Comrie’s backyard of St. Alban’s, the St. Albans Little League field parking lot, while Comrie was in office for 12 years.???????????????????????????????

How does Councilman Ruben Wills get elected a 2nd term, when we had the chance to elect someone else, while his district is far from the cleanest.

Low class ghetto slobs love to toss their filthy mattresses everywhere.

Assembly Member Vivian Cook has not done jack shit for her community in decades, yet she is still in office. Senator Malcolm Smith, possibly heading to prison, is running for re-election and then there is one of the most corrupt officials of all, Congressman Gregory Meeks.

This is all totally mind blowing that we have so many corrupt, crooked, useless and just plain lazy elected officials, while our community had been going down the toilet for years. Yes, they are definitely to blame, but so are our residents who keep putting crap like this in office. When the community had the chance to put someone fresh in Comrie’s councilman seat, what did the people do, they put in Comrie backed I. Daneek Miller. Comrie had done little as far as quality of life for Jamaica in his 12 years, so why would you put in office someone that he backed. You know you are just going to get the same old shit and nothing will change.

Well, it is time for change in this head in the sand community who does not want to face the truth or facts and  begin to wake up. Your leaders have failed you and that goes for many of the dozens and dozens of church leaders.

These elected leaders have played you for total fools and you believed the bullshit and now what are you left with,  a garbage strewn community that is falling behind every other community in Queens and this is all due to the poor, inept quality of leaders that you keep putting into office.

Place your own Jamaica elected leader here.

Place your own Jamaica elected leader here.

WAKE THE FUCK UP!

I am sure his anus is puckering up real good.

This is breaking news, but not anything that we in the know did not know about. Next Jamaica elected leader to go down, Assembly Member William Scarbrough. And you wonder why Jamaica is the big mess it is, Crooked, Corrupt, useless and just plain damn lazy elected leaders.

From TimesUnion.com:

FBI raids Assemblyman Bill Scarborough’s office

Updated 2:14 pm, Wednesday, March 26, 2014

ALBANY – FBI agents spent part of Wednesday morning in offices of Queens Assemblyman Bill Scarborough, multiple sources say.

The Democratic legislator said FBI agents questioned him this morning at an Albany hotel where he was staying. He said they implied there would be indictments. The investigation appears to focus on Scarborough’s travel vouchers.

Scarborough spoke to reporters as news about the raid swept through the Capitol.

“I’m innocent, but I understand the reality,” Scarborough said.

Agents were at Scarborough’s office at the Legislative Office Building Wednesday morning and afternoon. He said agents took “just about everything” from his office.

An FBI spokeswoman in Albany confirmed search warrants were executed at Scarborough’s Capitol office, and “multiple” other locations, including New York City.

Scarborough said the FBI is misunderstanding how the Assembly’s voucher system works and believes he’s acted “in accordance with the law.”

“The reality is I don’t know of any corruption,” Scarborough says.

Asked if he had abused voucher system, Scarborough said, “I don’t believe I have.”

Scarborough said search warrants issued in the case came from the Northern District of U.S.

And of course there will be you knuckleheads out there who will say, but he is a good man, this is a lie, blah blah, blah, just like you have said about Huntley, Meeks, Smith, Wills, Cook, Comrie and the rest of the useless Jamaica Crew. There is no coincidence why Jamaica looks the way it is and the bad conditions that have persisted for years.

We need to wipe the slate completely CLEAN!
