That is a major amount of firefighters. I have been by this house and it is right smack next to polluting waste transfer station, Royal Waste, and one of the entrances are right next to this house. Can you imagine. I mean this house was here way before Royal Waste, so why was the Waste Transfer station allowed to be place near residential homes and apartments.
Would not happen in Forest Hills or some all white community.
Not saying that Royal Waste had anything to do with this, just pointing out the fact of Royal Waste smack up against this house. Such lack of respect for Jamaica residents.

Nearly 140 Firefighters Battle Jamaica House Fire, FDNY Says
QUEENS — A massive fire tore through a Jamaica home Monday morning, FDNY officials said.
The flames erupted about 9:20 a.m. inside 175-01 Liberty Ave., near 175th Street, FDNY officials said.
Flames shot out of the top floor and sent a plume of smoke into the sky.
About 138 firefighters were still trying to bring the blaze under control about 9:50 a.m., officials said.
Firefighters were trying to douse the flames from outside the building because they were worried about the home’s structural integrity, an FDNY spokesman said.
There were no reported injuries, officials said.
