HOT HUMID SUNNY JAMAICA DAY FILLED WITH ZIKA VIRUS BREEDING GROUNDS, GARBAGE & OF COURSE ILLEGAL TRUCK DRIVING

There is something for everyone here, DOS, DOB, DOT, NYPD and of course our illustrious elected officials who do not address and deal with these ongoing issues in our community, opting for made up or not really serious issues such as “anti-Muslim bullying” doing photo-ops for street naming ceremonies and other unimportant issues that make them look like they really do something.

In the meantime, big & dangerous trucks come early morning on 170th Street between 6:30am & 8am while children and school buses are at risk ( I wasn’t quick enough to get a photo of a huge diesel fuel waste dump truck that came by at 7am), garbage issues which attract rodents, one of which is from an illegal conversion (major ongoing issue: http://a810-bisweb.nyc.gov/bisweb/PropertyProfileOverviewServlet?boro=4&houseno=170-09&street=89%20ave&requestid=0&s=A03C41B885B461E4F46BD08866A7430E) that has at least 20 people in it, but one garbage can overflowing and of course a pool of water at Major Mark Park which has been sitting for weeks as a perfect breeding ground for mosquitoes.

Ironic that in The Daily News we have this, but yet nothing from our local elected officials to deal with the actual conditions that pose a threat like pools of water sitting for weeks and high weeds:

Cuomo announces Zika virus public awareness campaign

NEW YORK DAILY NEWS
Thursday, May 26, 2016, 7:17 AM
ALBANY — The state has unveiled a new public awareness campaign about Zika virus.

The campaign includes a new Zika information helpline — (888) 364-4723 — and public service announcements running in English and Spanish on television and radio stations across the state, Gov. Cuomo said Wednesday.

There will also be digital ads, billboards, and posters in subways and on buses.

“This public awareness campaign will ensure New Yorkers understand the threat Zika poses and how we can stop its transmission,” Cuomo said. “By providing New Yorkers with the information they need, we can protect the public health and put an end to Zika once and for all.”

WELL, our locals elected officials certainly are not dealing with complaints brought up by myself or community activist Pamela Hazel. I mean that pool of water below has been like this since May 14 and I have filed several complaints and notified all of you.
