So much for vigils/rallies. A 23-year-old man was fatally shot in South Richmond Hill, police said. The victim, whose name has not been released, was shot in the neck and gut on 114th St. near 109th Ave. about 12:10 a.m., cops said.

Yep, sounds like a ghetto shooting and killing. So typical in this entire community and others like it.

Three men were shot to death in two separate incidents in Brooklyn and Queens early Friday, including a father of four who died trying to break up a fight, police said.

In Brooklyn, Perry Chance, 40, and a 37-year-old man whose name was not immediately released, were both shot in their midsection on Osborn St. near Pitkin Ave. in Brownsville just after 4 a.m., police said.

Police said Chance was shot while attempting to break up a fight between the 37 year old and another man.

Chance and the other victim were taken to Brookdale University Hospital, where both died.

Chance, a father of four, lived about a half mile from where he was shot.

“He was a family man,” said Chance’s cousin, who declined to give his name. “The whole projects loved him. He was trying to defuse the situation. He was shielding his wife from getting shot.”

Earlier, a 23-year-old man was fatally shot in South Richmond Hill, police said.

The victim, whose name has not been released, was shot in the neck and gut on 114th St. near 109th Ave. about 12:10 a.m., cops said.

He was rushed to Jamaica Hospital but couldn’t be saved, officials said.

Police at the scene were looking for surveillance video.

There were no immediate arrests in either incident.
