A non-fatal shooting in downtown Jamaica at The Lime Lounge in the crappy section of Jamaica Ave & 171 St (but then what in Jamaica is not crappy), a fatal shooting in East Flatbush (no surprise), but we do have a shooting in the ever getting ghetto of Steinway Street in expensive Astoria . Seems like another hood that is getting crappier by the day in Queens thanks to low-class ghetto trash and a asshole Mayor who has made it worse.
From The Daily News:
In Brooklyn, the 23-year-old man, whose name was not immediately released, was shot in the neck outside a home on Church Ave. near E. 35th St. in East Flatbush just after 2 a.m., cops said.
He was rushed to Kings County Hospital, but couldn’t be saved, officials said.
At the scene, a man was on the curb crying.
In Queens about two hours later, a dispute between two men left a 23-year-old man shot in the chest and neck outside on Steinway St. and 28th Ave. in Astoria, police said.
Javier Velasquez, 39, was walking home when he heard shooting.
“There was like four shots. When the ambulance came, the guy wasn’t moving,” he said. “There’s a lot of blood on the floor.”
The victim was rushed to Elmhurst Hospital, where he’s in critical condition, police said.
At the scene, six shell casings were on the ground and a bullet pierced the passenger door of a Nissan Maxima on 28th Ave.
The shooter fled in a vehicle in an unknown direction, police said.
In an unrelated non-fatal shooting, a 27-year-old woman and a 34-year-old man were blasted inside Lime Lounge on 171st St. and Jamaica Ave. in Jamaica, Queens, police said.
The suspect was outside the lounge when he blasted inside around 4 a.m., shooting the woman in the butt and shoulder, while the man was shot in the shoulder, police said.
Both were taken to Jamaica Hospital and are expected to survive, police said.
There were no arrests in any of the shootings, police said.
