The notorious area around 110th Avenue near Merrick Boulevard in South Jamaica (that I like to call “Hood Rat Central”) known for drug dealing, shooting, killings, garbage and few blocks away from the almighty Floyd Flake financial empire , Greater Allen African Methodist Episcopal Cathedral , had a bust early Thursday morning as Nelson Donigan was arrested for pot, bullet- proof vest and a hand gun as another Jamaica hood rat goes down. This is the same area were Niheen Donigan was shot and killed last month. (http://www.nydailynews.com/new-york/queens/suspect-busted-shooting-man-36-death-queens-street-article-1.2856444). Niheen Donigan back in 2001 shot and killed another young man, Aswald Walker, over a drug dispute not far from this exact same area.
Don’t know if the two are related, although they have the same last name, lived in the same area and both were involved in drugs.
So are the hood rats going to come out again and make comments about this.
BUT again this is another reason that New York and this country needs to legalize pot. Come on, it is 2016, this has been long overdue.
Officers with the 113th Precinct served a search warrant at 6 a.m. at a house on 110th Ave. near Merrick Blvd. in South Jamaica and seized the black Taurus .40-caliber handgun, the vest and pot.
Cops slapped a resident of the house, Nelson Donigan, 38, with weapon and drug charges, police said.
“Early morning search warrant yields loaded firearm, drugs, bullet proof vest and cash,” the 113th Precinct tweeted. “Two people arrested.”
Cops could not immediately provide details on the second arrest.
Donigan has eight prior arrests, including another gun bust in 2003.
Meanwhile, across town, cops with PSA 7 in the South Bronx busted a gang member carrying a loaded handgun Wednesday.
“Congrats to 4x12s arresting an alleged gang member accused of violating an order of protection, with a firearm,” the unit tweeted early Thursday.
