DAY 4 and not one of the “powers that be” have answered the simple question about lack of enforcement (well in reality NO ENFORCEMENT) with auto body shops placing their junked and unlicensed vehicles all over public streets/sidewalks.
Yesterday (12.9.16) while driving to a Christmas party on Long Island on Merrick Blvd from Archer Avenue to the LI Border, I counted again well over 100 junked/unlicensed vehicles starting at the autobody shop south of the LIRR Tunnel at Merrick/Archer Ave, which had 6 junked/unlicensed vehicles on both the street and sidewalk (and a huge tractor trailer truck parked under the LIRR Tunnel) to a burnt out vehicle places on the medial strip on Merrick about a mile past Foch Blvd heading to Long Island. Of course the majority between Archer Avenue and 110th St. Since I was driving straight on Merrick I was not able to inspect on the sidestreets. Coming back home that same route at 10pm, several tractor trailer trucks & commercial trucks were illegally parked all over Merrick Blvd and two huge waste trucks like the one below were parked under the 168th LIRR Tunnel, blocking the one lane and because of no lights in that tunnel and the dark of night, we almost ran into the one huge truck. A very dangerous and ILLEGAL issue.
And so the Days of a simple unanswered question by the powers that be continues…………………………………. as NO RESPECT or PRIDE continues from our “so-called leaders” and those who serve to enforce the laws in the Dirty Southeast Queens.
