SOUTH OZONE PARK 106TH PRECINCT FINDS NO ISSUE WITH DANGEROUS OVERNIGHT COMMERCIAL TRACTOR TRAILER PARKING WHICH BLOCKS DRIVER’S VIEWS

image3-1image4-2image1After several 311 complaints were filed in South Ozone Park about the weekend overnight ILLEGAL commercial truck parking (125-20 South Conduit Ave) that actually posed a big safety issue to drivers, this was the various responses from the 106th precinct who obviously do not want to do their job or ENFORCE the laws. And this is not the first time with overnight illegal commercial truck parking in that area that the 106th seems to be ignoring with their bullshit 311 response.

From the reader who actually sent me this information:

Thank you for posting the pictures on your page and here is the response I got back from 311:

311

I did in the same area after I got the first complaint back no evidence of a violation so this time i purposely waited till after 9pm, so I put commercial overnight parking is prohibited on city streets from 9pm to 5am and officer Clarke waited till 5:00 on the dot Sunday morning to respond to the complaint, done it purposely:

311-2

So much for the old adage: “If you see something suspicious report it to a NYPD police officer”. I guess make sure that police officer is not with the 106th precinct in South Ozone Park.

  1. the 106th has always had a spotty history. If I can think of an example, I think of the days when the Gambino syndicate use to run the streets in the 70’s and 80’s, the streets of Ozone Park and Howard Beach which is in their jurisdiction. So this type of selective non-enforcement is no surprise and basically entrenched in the dept. Although maybe orders from higher brass is telling the cops to focus on violent criminal activity instead.

I’m no detective, prosecutor, or D.A., all I know is what I watched on Law And Order, mostly the Orbach, Bratt and Waterson seasons, but it might be helpful to know what those trucks are hauling and who contracted them to find out how they can get away with these infractions.
