Take in the fresh aroma of Royal Waste which hauls garbage from all over NYC 24/7.Visit our many lovely auto body shops on Merrick Blvd (the new Willets Point) and watch expert auto mechanics in action.See where half the homeless population live in such fine encampments like Jamaica Center Station, LIRR/Sutphin Blvd or 179th Street or better yet make a visit to our over 30 homeless shelters and adopt a homeless person.  And after a full day of tourist attraction, make sure to stop by our several 99 cent stores or beauty supply stores to bring home Jamaica souvenirs to the folks back home to make them envious. Of course by that time, you have worked up a big appetite and visit our many fine food establishments like a variety of fast food chains or stand up dining options.

  1. Hey Joe. Take a close look at the Greater Jamaica Development Corporation logo. How c-r-e-a-t-i-v-e, right? But it is really beholden to this logo (one of the first logos ever created in American advertising):

    • INTERESTING. Georgie, you are such a vast wealth of information. I was hoping that GJDC would say something to me about using their logo, like some others in the past have, even though I have no idea the legality of that, which would just shine more like on issues, but alas, nothing.
