POLITICAL HACK & HYPOCRITE QUEENS BP MELINDA KATZ MAKES STATEMENT ON ICE AGENTS ARRESTING TRAFFICKING VICTIM FROM CHINA BUT YET SHE & LOCAL JAMAICA OFFICIALS STILL HAVE NOT MAKE ONE COMMENT ON 15 YEAR OLD BLACK AMERICAN GIRL KIDNAPPED & PIMPED OUT FOR 4 MONTHS IN REV. FLAKE’S GREATER ALLEN CATHEDRAL SENIOR RESIDENCE

Ironic that political hack Queens Borough President Melinda Katz said the presence of ICE agents“severely disrupts and obstructs justice.” “Trafficked sex workers are exploited victims, not criminals,” she wrote in a statement. “The double victimization of these women is extremely troubling and unacceptable.”

BUT yet she has not made one statement nor have any local elected officials on the young 15 year old girl from Jamaica Queens who was kidnapped and pimped out for 4 months in Rev. Floyd Flake’s Greater Allen Cathedral Senior Residence on Merrick Blvd in Jamaica Queens nor the major issue of underage AMERICAN girls of color who are constantly kidnapped and forced into prostitution in this community:

So I guess a 15 year old American black girl being kidnapped and pimped out for 4 months in the almighty Rev. Floyd Flake’s Greater Allen Cathedral Senior Residence is TOTALLY ACCEPTABLE and does not deserve any comment from her or any of the lackey Jamaica local elected officials or the Flake Dynasty and their questionable Greater Allen Cathedral Church. WHAT ARE YOU HIDING.
Why is that MELINDA KATZ? WHY is that Jamaica elected officials? Such a major hypocrite. You can tell it is election time and she is gathering up immigrant votes as fast as possible.

Rev Floyd Flake all pimped out.

KEW GARDENS — Agents from Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrested three people outside the Queens Criminal Courthouse on Friday, with activists and the chief judge saying they also planned to arrest a woman from a court for human trafficking victims.

ICE agents were inside the courthouse looking for a young woman from China who was charged for working illegally as a masseuse, according to WNYC.

She was being tried in human trafficking court, which aims to provide alternative sentences to possible sex workers — who are often victims of sex trafficking or other crimes, according to court officials.

Lawyers from Legal Aid protected the woman from ICE agents by asking the judge for bail so she could leave the courthouse, according to WNYC.

Rachel Yong Yow, a spokeswoman for ICE, confirmed they arrested three people outside of the courthouse from a “targeted enforcement action” but didn’t arrest anyone inside human trafficking intervention court.

She could not comment further on the nature of the enforcement action, or if ICE agents were inside the courthouse.

ICE policy directs agents away from enforcement in sensitive locations, unless they have prior approval from a supervisor of there are “exigent circumstances,” agency officials said.

But the presence of the agents inside the courthouse rattled many, including Chief Judge Janet DiFiore, who told WNYC in a statement she was “greatly concerned” by their presence.

“We are committed to the safety and security of all New Yorkers who use our courthouses throughout the state,” she said. “In a continuing dialogue, we have met with federal officials on a local and national level to convey our concerns and request that they treat courthouses as sensitive locations, similar to schools, hospitals and places of worship.”

Borough President Melinda Katz said the presence of ICE agents “severely disrupts and obstructs justice.”

“Trafficked sex workers are exploited victims, not criminals,” she wrote in a statement. “The double victimization of these women is extremely troubling and unacceptable.”

ICE agents have had an increased presence at courthouses around the city since President Donald J. Trump took office, according to Legal Aid.

“We are deeply troubled over yesterday’s arrests and ICE’s continued surveillance and presence at area courthouses,” said Tina Luongo, Attorney-In-Charge of the Criminal Practice at The Legal Aid Society. “It’s been months and the Office of Court Administration has yet to devise any plan to thwart ICE intimidation and arrests at city courts. We need concrete action from OCA immediately to stop these raids.”

A spokesman for OCA could not immediately be reached for comment.

  1. All these ‘elected representatives’ are hardcore political animals: their first priority – above EVERTHING else – is political survival.
They weigh EVERY word, EVERY action, EVERY appearance – who they stand next to at every photo-opp – in light of one question only: is this going to advance my career, secure my title, make me ‘look good’?
This case makes for great press – ‘an ethical, concerned Borought Pres. taking a find ‘moral stance’ for someone in trouble.’
In the Flake situation, there’s too much danger for her: there’s too much fear that by issuing a high-priority investigation – ie, ‘lifting the big rock’ – she’s afraid of all the roaches, slugs and other vermin that are going to scamper away – she likely knows who they are, but is too afraid of them.
If you life the rock – the investigation – you have to follow-through and prosecute crime, no matter where it leads. She’s afraid of where it will leas.
This is what cowardice, ignorance, and decades-long entrenched SE Queens corruption looks like.
It reeks as much as Royal Waste and their monster trailer-trucks full of trash roaring through neighborhoods, terrorizing the people who have to live here.

What makes this blog important is the degree of real involvement – regularly canvassing neighborhoods (by bike!), returning to ‘scenes of the crime’ time & time again, getting into the ‘trenches’ with the folks living in areas subjected to all sorts of crime and abuse: that’s REAL reporting.
