In the meantime, check out the following sites for all the CRAP in Queens in this awful overcrowded, congested, super expensive and HIGHLY overrated city:
George Wray, 73, remains in critical condition as a package exploded that was left on his doorstep meant for a Blood gang member that was a renter in the home according to The Daily News (http://www.nydailynews.com/new-york/queens/family-queens-landlord-injured-exploding-parcel-rattled-article-1.3368190).
So if you don’t think shitty ghetto Jamaica can get any worse, get ready. Now gangs are using bombs. Hoards of drug addicts & homeless are roaming the streets and more and more low-class immigrants are arriving by the bus load.
The photo below pretty much sums up Jamaica and NYC for that matter, but it is definitely the new symbol for the “Revitalized Jamaica”.
From Queens Courier:
Detectives continue to look for the perpetrators who left a bomb that exploded and critically injured a 73-year-old man on the doorstep to his south Queens home on Friday afternoon.
Law enforcement sources said the blast occurred at 4:15 p.m. on July 28 in the vicinity of 222nd Street and 145th Road in Springfield Gardens.
“There is substantial evidence left from this device, which appears to be a victim-actuated device; the explosion was caused by opening the package,” Boyce said. “We consider this a low-explosive; there was no shrapnel associated with this device.”
Officers from the 105th Precinct and EMS units responded to the incident. The victim remains hospitalized in critical condition at Nassau University Medical Center.
No arrests have been made, and the NYPD Arson and Explosion Squad is conducting the investigation, police said.
UNBELIEVABLE, $739,000 (http://www.mlsli.com/homes-for-sale/104-86-165-St-Jamaica-NY-11433-209961630). I mean look at this piece of shit. It is South Jamaica for fuck’s sake, at least have security doors on it and what is with those dangerous steps. BUT of course the selling point is the wonderful view next door. Of course with 6 bedrooms, 3 baths and 1/2 bath, you can fit at least 10 immigrant families of 5 members per family easily and still pack in about 10 illegal immigrants too.
I must say that every time I walk by the Moda “Upgraded Living” Apartments and see that sign, I just laugh. UPGRADED LIVING, only if “upgraded” in Jamaica means garbage, litter, an outdoor drinking cafe for the local drug addicts & homeless and the MODA outdoor restrooms.
FROM THE MODA WEBSITE:
From the moment you enter your Moda apartment it will feel like home. Designed for living — and living it up — you’ll enjoy all the comforts and conveniences that are distinctly Moda.
If you haven’t seen Moda, you don’t know what you’re missing.
Well, we are GOING TO SHOW YOU WHAT YOU ARE MISSING as THE PHILTER shows in photos, you know REALITY.
From The Philster, Roving Reporter of CRAP:
This cheap shitty building at the corner of 170 St/90 Ave (89-20 to 89-28 170 St) has a major fire hazard in the back of the building, in which not only is there huge amounts of garbage, cardboard, wood and other fire hazardous material, but since the back is a secondary exit, should anyone need to leave in an emergency this way, not only would they have problems getting out of the back doors, but also up the steps (which are completely blocked) to the sidewalk.
This mess has been like this for well over a month and I was wondering just how long the situation would be remedied by the owner (s). Well, looks like it is not too important to these slumlords.
Believe it or not, this building is condos and were selling for $1 million plus, though some of the people living in it, don’t look like they could afford $100 a month, but it still does not mean they should be living in jeopardy as well as the people next door to this mess.
AND to that Ruthie from South East Queens over in the Times Ledger article (http://www.timesledger.com/stories/2017/30/105barber_2017_07_28_q.html?comm=1#feedback) who comment to me:
From The Daily News:
His sister Miriam Wray, 65, said they have kept a steady presence by his bedside and are trying to cope with the tragedy that left a hard-working father figure heavily sedated and breathing through a respirator.
“It’s very hard. He was the father for everyone. The first person people would call when they had trouble,” she said. “He was always there for us.”
She said her brother, a Jamaican immigrant who has lived in the neighborhood for around 45 years, bought the house a few years ago and she helped him fix up the dilapidated property.
“He was so excited,” she said of Wray, who is the father of an adult son. “He was going to rent it out and sell it to one of the family one day.”
Doctors don’t know how long Wray’s recovery will take and are waiting to see if he makes any improvements in the coming days, she said.
Wray suffered burns over 80% of his body after the cylindrical shaped package filled with black powder ignited, police said.
Cops were still working to piece together what happened.
The package was meant for a Bloods gang member who lives in the home Wray rents out, police sources said.
Kathleen Toussaint, a tenant at the property, said the blast was so strong it knocked her landlord off his feet.
“It literally lifted him up in the air,” she said.
“When we came outside we saw he was kneeling in the grass and neighbors were trying to turn off the fire that was on him,” recalled Toussaint.
“It was really a scary sight because his skin was coming off,” she added.
Toussaint said she believes the package was on the porch for weeks and was not addressed to anyone at the property.
“We’re still kind of shaken up about it because it could’ve been anyone of us,” she said.
“God forbid if we took it inside the house, it would have been much worse.”
Really, the title, if it wanted to be TRUTHFUL, should be:
ADRIENNE ADAMS PUSHED INTO SEEKING 28TH COUNCIL DISTRICT SEAT BY QUEENS ANTI-DEMOCRATIC MACHINE
That would be a more truthful title since Adams did not seek that seat when the MACHINE was backing crooked Wills. I mean why didn’t she put her name on the ballot back then, especially knowing what a do nothing and crook Wills was. I mean if she cared so much about the community (which I do believe she does), why not put your name on the ballot months ago instead of the last minute after Wills was found guilty and the crooked machine was backing him even when he was on trial.
Again, they just want another puppet in office they can control. Should be called the QUEENS ANTI-DEMOCRATIC MACHINE, because that really is what it is, ANTI-DEMOCRATIC. Look for the MACHINE to start tossing the other candidates off the ballot with their form of voter suppression, called petitioning signatures. JUST WATCH. Hope the candidates had three times as many signatures as needed, because this is how the CROOKED JOE CROWLEY QUEENS DEM MACHINE WORKS AND STAYS IN POWER or as it is known to us as FUCK THE CONSTITUENTS AND VOTERS.

Adrienne Adams, chairwoman of Community Board 12, on Thursday announced her candidacy for the Democratic nomination in the 28th City Council District, the seat vacated last week when Ruben Wills was convicted on corruption charges.
Adams’ announcement came with the endorsement of U.S. Rep. Joe Crowley (D-Queens, Bronx), who also serves as the Queens County Democratic Party chairman.
U.S. Rep. Gregory Meeks (D-Queens, Nassau) also has endorsed Adams.
She joins a Democratic field that already includes Hettie Powell, Richard David and former Councilman Allan Jennings.
“Community and service are not empty words, but are the principles that have guided my life,” Adams said in a statement issued by her campaign. “As I campaign to represent the people of the 28th Council District, I am proud to have the support of Congress Members Crowley and Meeks, and look forward to partnering with them and my many friends in the City Council to improve the economic opportunity, transportation options, and overall quality of life in Rochdale, Jamaica, Richmond Hill and South Ozone Park.”
“The people of Queens deserve honest representation and a City Council member who will fight tirelessly for the best interests of the community,” Crowley said. “Adrienne Adams has proven time and again that she knows what this community needs and how to build the coalitions necessary to improve the quality of life in our neighborhoods. I’m proud to support her campaign for City Council.”
“As we work to stem the extremism of Donald Trump’s presidency, having City Council Members who are committed to working together to deliver for our communities is critical,” Meeks said. “Adrienne Adams has a record of delivering for the people of Queens as Chairwoman of Community Board 12, and I know she’ll continue to do so as our new City Councilwoman.”
Adams has been chairwoman of Community Board 12 since 2012, taking over when the panel was in a state of turmoil.
She is also a member of the Jamaica Now Leadership Council, which promotes economic development in the neighborhood, as well as serving on the Governor’s Local Planning Committee for the Jamaica Downtown Revitalization Initiative in support of funding specific revitalization project,s and is a past member of the Queens Borough Public Library Board of Trustees.
Adams last year ran against state Sen. James Sanders Jr. (D-South Ozone Park) in the 10th Senate Democratic primary.
She jumped into the race when Sanders announced his intention to primary Meeks in the 5th Congressional District. Sanders eventually dropped the bid, but Adams won the party’s endorsement. In the September primary, however, Sanders defeated Adams by 15 points and coasted to re-election in November.
Sanders is believed to be backing Powell for the nomination.
The Democratic Primary will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 12th.
