STAND UP FOR AMERICAN PATRIOTISM – TIME TO KICK OUT THE EMBARRASSMENT KNOWN AS TRUMP

If you are not following the blog “Impunity City“, you should. This SE Queens resident has great insight with his one of a kind writing on issues in Queens, NYC, and that embarrassment man child Trump, plus his “Goodnight” posts of notable talent that has passed away.

His take on a major movie in the making, the downfall of the least capable person to become President of our country and not only a HUGE embarrassment, but a not too intelligent, babbling idiot dressed in a suit, is great.

I mean REALLY, what were some of you thinking in putting in the cry baby whinny little bitch, I mean I kind of get it, but not really. I mean would you let Dr. Phil operated on you if you had a heart attack. I mean, you really think we need someone in this position who has absolutely no knowledge of policy be it domestic or international, no idea how government is run (it is NOT a business), mouth diarrhea,  and the last book he read was “Green Eggs and Ham” and he could not really even comprehend that.

Sure we can end up with Pence and Ryan, but time for this reality show distraction called “Keeping Up With The Trumps” to be cancelled and soon.

AND now Democrats and some of you Republicans ( I know there are good one out there), hope you learned your lesson and begin to grow some MAJOR BALLS and unite for the good of AMERICA, since this is the USA not Trumpland.

AND for you idiots out there, YES, THIS IS FAKE.

Now here is a GOODNIGHT I would love to see in Impunity City.

Executive Carnage And Anarchy In 100 Plus Days: The President Embraces Dictators And Becomes A Lame Ass One-Sacking His FBI Director And Investigator And Establishes And Parades A Criminal Conspiracy In Plain Sight In The Oval Office

https://i2.wp.com/mediad.publicbroadcasting.net/p/shared/npr/styles/x_large/nprshared/201705/527773655.jpgThis guy here, this is the guy helping me destroy morality, trust and normalcy.

Washington D.C., U.S.A.

Looks like President Trump has gone full time gangster on the nation. And revealing some disturbing though not surprising characteristic traits.

Like recent reports that he gets an extra scoop of ice cream after dinner every day, like a petulant brat having a birthday.

Like that red button he installed on his desk in the oval office that brings him a Coke. Clearly put there to freak out invited domestic and international dignitaries, cabinet aides and most certainly ideologue wealthy individuals when he presses it. The stupid asshole.

Like telling Face The Nation his warped rationale that having a sore knee or a bad back is not as important than launching missles, which shows that he definitely knows what’s in the Expendable American Health Care Act.

Like congratulating recent victories and the treacherous exploits of despots of other nations, dictator scumbags like Al-Sisi in Egypt and Erdrogan in Turkey. No word yet if Trumpy called the victor of the election in France who beat that dirty money-bundled douchehag Marnie Le Pen though.

Like inviting that extrajudicial mass killing vigilante asshole Duerte from the Philippines, probably for advice that made AG Jefferson Sessions, that mutant herpes boil, bring back excessive sentences for drug offenses.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions*

But mostly, and most defiantly egregious and boastful, the firing of the FBI director James Comey. The man leading the investigation into alleged Russian influence and interference in the democratic process of last year’s election in the final months. Surely, after the Figurehead and aspiring Dictator had been whining on his social networking account for months there was no link at all, in addition to denying ever meeting Putin and even advisors with ties to Russian oligarchs in his inner circle. And the perceived massive favor the former FBI director did to dismantle the campaign of Manifest Hillary in the final week before election day, it certainly looked as if Comey’s job was safe and Trump was eager to let the investigation roll on, with the assured, by Trump, outcome to go in his, Trump’s, favor. It would have been another thing to brag about incessantly, which where the President is an artisan.

But it was all too much. And like something out of the Godfather, recent reports have shown that since his pathetic inauguration, Trump has been putting the screws on the top law enforcer of the nation. Needling Comey to pledge his loyalty to him to end the investigation of the alleged and yet to be proven Russian ties. It’s like Trump thought that firing Gen. Flynn for his 45 large payday would be enough to let it go so he can run the country into the toilet, enact arbitrary laws and regressive policies, plunder the treasury and continue to run the Trump Organization at the same time.

It’s still amazing that Flynn got the ax. I can only imagine the amount of bullshit Trump told him when he assigned him to the NSA position, which did not need congressional approval. Like how safe the general thought he would be because of Trump’s debts of billions of dollars to his properties and, as recently noted by a sportswriter, golf courses, and most omnipresently, Trump’s familial advisers and the Secretary Of State Rex Tillerson’s ties to the obscenely wealthy in Mother Russia.

The problem, for the President, is that Comey, despite his flaws and his humiliating recent testimony at the last hearing involving this burgeoning scandal, is a true public servant and did not sell out to the lame ass aspiring dictator. So Trump fired him like the coward he is. And in the heinous way of manipulating the analysis of recently appointed deputy attorney Rod Rosenstein and using the blatantly illegal advice of A.G. Sessions who a day after his confirmation, recused himself from this case for speaking briefly with a Russian diplomat. Of course, being the glory hog and ignorant jerkoff that is his nature, the President/Godfather bragged to Lester Holt that he was going to can Comey anyway. With this national display of hubris and shit-talkin’, Trump did the same thing Flynn did to Vice President Pence when he lied about taking cash from a Russian TV network featuring Putin and undermined his defense of Comey’s firing by the advise of his top cabinet members by lying to him. (as well as members of congress and his doormat press secretary, forcing him to hide in the dark by some bushes). This amoral admission by Trump solidifies his impulsive power tripping firings of interim AG Sally Yates concerns of Russian compromising and DA Preet Bharara’s similar investigations and actual charges of Russian money laundering in NYC luxury apartments (although Preet might have actually been canned for delving into the misdeeds involving a nefarious pal of the fiendish President of Turkey currently held in a prison cell in Manhattan)

This of course led to an uproar in D.C. and the nation, (and probably the Deep State, but they will probably adapt if Trump remains in power), despite all the conflicting outcry from both political parties that have called for Comey’s removal in the past 8 months. But all that was put to rest when the following day, the subject and catalyst of the Comey investigation, Russian Diplomat Sergei Klysiak  was invited to the White House and Oval Office with the Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Lavrov. And kept out the fourth estate from the meeting but permitted a Russian government owned media photographer to the oval office.

That is some gangsta shit.

And now it turns out that Trump, in a total display of boastful hypocrisy, revealed pertinent information and classified intelligence to the Sergeis about the Islamic State provided by staunch and perennially trusted ally Israel. And he followed this up with bilious aplomb that he had the right, as President, to do it. The same bilious aplomb when he said that the President never has a conflict of interest and how he can go out on the streets of New York, shoot a guy, get away with it, and still be adored.

That is something that is learned and ingrained indefinitely in a person. In a person that had relied on illicit mob money and manpower to build his empire as a young scion who inherited his dad’s wealth and empire, and who has relied on free flowing and unregulated Russian (and Chinese, Indian, and Arabian) money to grow his empire, market his name and spread his tower pestilence and fabricated worth and reputation around the world.

Image result for trump bribes here

The aftermath of the Tuesday Night Sacrifice (one person doesn’t make a massacre), The Godfather/President has made a bunch of power moves.

First he gave an address to Liberty University, a college founded by evangelist, sinner and philander Jerry Falwell, a symbolic gesture to his only base, the wealthy hypocritical christian minority. Overlooking the fact that religion is the last refuge of a scoundrel, he enlightened the audience of recent graduates that we are a nation that worships god more than government, which jibes with his recent moronic and redundant executive order to promote free speech and religious liberty. And his recent EO on instituting a commission on voting integrity, based on his lunatic belief that he should have won the popular vote, but scholars and experts rightly claim is just a harbinger for more voter oppression.

But nothing can be more gangster than what happened on May 16, 2017 in the nation’s capital in the United States Of America, when the recently and grossly empowered President Recep Tayipp Erdogan came to the White House. Erdogan, with the aid of sycophants and patsies in his nation’s parliament and a very shady electoral process, took over control of all branches of government in his country. This has led to strife and unrest in his nation. It’s also reached out to Turkish citizens of this nation, as a small group showed up at the Turkish embassy in D.C. to protest Erdrogan’s presence there.

It did not go well at all. Unless you were part of Tayipp’s crack security team of violent oppressors.

These motherfucking lowlifes basically committed an attack on a sovereign country. America. These bags of dicks and shit in suits and possessing loaded guns oppressed the 1st amendment rights of those people, Kurdish people whom this nation is allied with in War On Terror. And they did this with total impunity and the salient fact that they have virtual permission since their leader has the respect and sympathy of our President.

These are the days, hours, minutes and seconds of reckoning of liberty and justice in this country and even though he refuses to acknowledge it, President/Godfather Don “Senza Valore” Trump, now that Comey’s predecessor and fellow New Yorker Robert Mueller has been tapped to assist in the independent investigation. Although the above video is reason enough to demand justice for the victims and spur solidarity among the hundreds of elected officials, the fact that the nation is at the mercy of a gangster is arguably worse.

This power hungry, power mad, stupid, greedy man in the White House has to go. And he has to go to prison like the gangster he kept company with and the dictator he aspires to be. No more, no less. There is no way to condone his behavior and his decisions. There are no more chances. This is over. President Trump truly has become the living embodiment of two words that don’t belong together.

There is not enough time left. He has to be removed before his disastrous budget, foreign and domestic policies and his dismantling of the constitution becomes official.

Mostly, he has to be charged with high crimes, that way if that sinner Vice President “Lying” Pence takes over, his presidency will be undermined and will not get any of his fundamentalist Christian acts effecting the economies and beliefs on the majority of citizens.

These acts of sedition will not and cannot stand. And cannot wait.

AND WHOEVER SAYS CRIME IS DOWN CERTAINLY IS NOT VISITING THE DIRTY SE QUEENS

More nonsense from the ghetto SE Queens.

Fellow blogger, Impunity City, which is always a great read not only on Queens but all the bullshit that NYC has to offer, is doing a great series called NEW BAD DAYS. The series is up to part 11 and certainly seems to dispel the powers that be claim of crime is down. Maybe in places like Park Slope, Mayor Dumbo’s hood, but obviously the powers that be are not checking out SE Queens and especially expensive Brooklyn, where for a gazillion dollars for housing, you can have bullets fly by your head and other nonsense, which the Impunity City Series, New Bad Days 11: The Brooklyn Brand Is Not Looking So High End And Hip In The Past 48 Hours (https://impunitycity.wordpress.com/2017/04/14/new-bad-days-11-the-brooklyn-brand-is-not-looking-so-high-end-and-hip-in-the-past-48-hours/) shows that expensive hip Brooklyn is maybe not so damn hip.

But closer to home, we have the latest nonsense with whizzing bullets. And this time in Richmond Hill the perps are a diverse mix of Black and Hispanic. WELCOME TO THE WORLDS BOROUGH, in which South Jamaica, South Ozone Park, Richmond Hill and Greater Jamaica are in a race for crappiest ghetto community. What do the powers that be and especially BP Queens famous phrase: “Diverse & Vibrant”. Well it don’t get much more diverse than two Black men and one Hispanic AND is sure as shit don’t ge more vibrant than having your head get grazed by bullets.

What is the new NYC Motto, OH YEAH:

“It’s a mess. The city should’ve intervened a long time ago, I guess they are waiting for someone to actually die before they do something to help.”

Officers from the 102nd Precinct were on the scene in Richmond Hill where an 18-year-old man was shot on April 13.

An 18-year-old man is lucky to be alive after being grazed by a bullet during a robbery attempt in Richmond Hill on Thursday night, police said.

Law enforcement sources said the shooting took place at 6:20 p.m. on April 13 in front of a home on 86th Avenue between 101st and 102nd streets.

According to police, the victim was walking through the area when he was approached by three suspects, described as two black males and one Hispanic male, who demanded cash and drugs.

When the teenager refused to comply with their demands, authorities said, one of the bandits pulled out a silver handgun and started firing. One of the bullets grazed the back of the victim’s head; the suspects subsequently fled the scene on foot eastbound along 86th Avenue.

Officers from the 102nd Precinct and EMS units responded to the scene. The victim was rushed to Jamaica Hospital, where he was treated for his injuries.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.

DON’T BELIEVE THE “LOWER CRIME” BULLSHIT – IT IS ALIVE AND WELL, BUT THEN WE SE QUEENS FOLKS ALWAYS KNEW THAT

Some really good reading from SE Queens blogger Impunity City (https://impunitycity.wordpress.com/), always a good read, always insightful and educational on the BULLSHIT with not only Queens but this damn awful city.

Add this to your reading list.

The videos below are really disturbing courtesy of our human trash that keeps multiplying in this “sanctuary-right to shelter-liberal progressive” rotten city. Notice that the sanctuary, the right to shelter and the liberal progressive cities (mostly run by Dems) are the worst with crime and especially homeless issues,  place like the rotten apple, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, Seattle. Though this is not a free pass for Republicans, which are still big assholes as well.

The New Bad Days

NY Daily News: January marks 24-year low for NYC murders, shootings; rapes up

Cops recorded the lowest number of murders and shootings in any January since 1993, NYPD officials said Monday, though rapes were up.

There were just 20 murders reported in the first month of the year, compared with 22 in January 2016 — a 9.1% decline.

By comparison, there were a whopping 189 murders in 1993 — or six a day.

Rape in January rose from 101 in 2016 to 110 in 2017 — an increase of 8.9%. Officials at a press conference about the stats did not elaborate on the change.

Last month saw 58 shootings, compared to 59 in January of 2016 — a decline of 1.7%. By comparison, there were 477 shootings in 1993.

And for only the second time since 1993, there were fewer than 8,000 major crimes reported to police in the month. Overall crime dropped by 2.7% compared to January 2016.

“2017 is picking up where 2016 left off, reducing violence and driving crime down further,” said Police Commissioner James O’Neill.

The year 1993 has been a bellwether because it was one of the worst years in city history for crime. The NYPD’s vaunted CompStat crime fighting strategy started the following year, and crime began to decline.

Overall, in January, there were 7,992 major crimes reported, compared to 8,011 in January 2016 — a decline of 0.2%.

Robbery and assault also declined, the NYPD reported.

Mayor De Blasio credited neighborhood policing and additional officers on patrol for the continued decline in many crimes.

Dermot Shea, the Chief of Crime Control Strategies, said January was the 10th straight month showing reduced crime.

“We have now, when you look at New York City as a whole, we now have periods of 24-hour periods where we do not record a shooting incident,” Shea said. “This is the new normal. We wanna build on it and we feel that we will build on it.”

The transit system saw three fewer crimes in January — 209 compared to 212 the year before.

There were 405 crimes in public housing in the month, compared to 413 in January 2016

NY Daily News: February sets the record for the fewest crimes

LAST MONTH was the safest February in New York City in over 20 years — although murders for the year have increased slightly, police said Wednesday.

As February came to a close, NYPD detectives were investigating 42 murders, compared to 40 by this time in 2016, representing a 5% bump.

Shootings so far this year are down by nearly 15%, to 99, from last year’s 116 during the same period.

“It always concerns us when there’s an uptick in murders,” Mayor de Blasio said at the monthly crime stats meeting on Wednesday. “We take that seriously, but thank God, overall (it’s) still a low number.” Last month, there were 40 shootings with 44 people shot. That represents a 36% drop from the 62 shootings for February of last year, when 77 people were victimized. The mayor called the decline “extraordinary.”

There were 85 rapes last month, which marks a 21% drop compared to February 2016, when there were 108.

Felony assaults — 1,287 last month — were also down, an 8% drop from the 1,400 the previous February.

Robberies saw a 13% decline, from 1,113 to 965. There were 14% fewer burglaries, with 878 this year compared to 1,020 in February last year.

Grand larceny was down 8% and grand larceny auto was down 4%.

O’Neill credited neighborhood and precision policing for the positive trend.

“In reality, it’s really a very small percentage of people in this city committing the bulk of violent crime,” he said. “With precision policing, we’re identifying those people — the small groups, gangs and crews — and we’re taking them out.”

The Five Boroughs, New York

These are the most conflicting of times. Judging by these reports from the NYPD, as impressive as they are, well as should give the citizenry great comfort and sense of security, but how come it’s still a tad scary out there. And why of the scarce crime being committed, is the severity of the acts as comparably violent and sadistic as the bad old days of NYC, with the exception of high murder rates.

The other day in the East Village at 2:30 in the afternoon, 2 men pummeled another man to the concrete, repeatedly assaulting him with kicks and punches. In broad daylight as some people stopped and looked and walked away. The perpetrators jumped in a car and fled.

Sure it’s just one incident but this is in a massively gentrified area, and inhabited with modern art galleries, high rise luxury towers and obscenely high rate walk-up apt. rentals and bars and trendy upscale artisanal restaurants and faux dive bars, and barstaurants. Which makes this public beat down so shocking that it actually happened today and not, to quote the city statisticians, 1983, where in the same area it was surrounded by poverty, rampant and blatant drug use and crime, and dilapidated and hallowed out tenement buildings and rubble and garbage strewn lots.

Because the city may have actually reached the tipping point in curbing crime. Or maybe it’s so overpopulated in the metropolitan area now from transients and tourist influx and the new towers are so high they are casting eclipsing shadows, that it’s easy to overlook some things. Especially to people that have to live by or just happened to be there at the moment of the scene of the crime.

And in every report about a recent incident, either by obligation or complicity with the NYPD, the news dailies sometimes puts positive crime stats almost after every report, no matter how big or small the article is.

Take for example the lists provided by the Daily News above. When the January results came out, they not only correlate the month of this year with last, but also from 24 years ago. The strange and unsettling thing is that the lowering is not much of an improvement, just 8 less serious crimes. But juxtaposed with a year from the bad old days, the first year of Giuliani Time by the way, it gives quite a charming and soothing impression that the 5 Boroughs is a shining utopia in comparison.

I have come to this theory when a few grisly crimes happened on the same block a month or so apart on Liberty Avenue, South Richmond Hill, Queens, NY. One maniac stalked his ex-wife where she worked, stabbed her multiple times and tried to behead her with a knife he bought at the 99 cent store, right at the corner of the block. A month later, on the same block around the corner, a man got shot in front of a nite club over a chain. This has more significance, despite how rare these things happen compared to 33 years ago, because it was the city’s first murder of 2017.

Another theory that came to me was the way the mayor and upper brass of the NYPD has described certain incidents and belittled crime trends when asked about them from the press. Especially from a police chief in Greenpoint who redefined what constituted a rape. I have referred to this previously as the Marginal Victims Unit. But that telling and tone deaf response may be policy and protocol, previous to that tone deaf statement, Mayor de Blasio and Commissioner Bratton undermined the level of crime in areas by and inside public parks last year.

A Walk In The Park: Park crime jumps 32%

Crime in city parks jumped thirty-two percent over the last nine months.  Violent crime rose nineteen percent and increased in all four categories.   Five hundred and two people reported being the victim of violent crime during the first three quarters of 2016.  Robberies increased twenty-nine percent.

The de Blasio administration continues to maintain that park crime is,”rare.”

Violent crime rose nineteen percent and was up in all four categories during the first three quarters of 2016.   Five hundred and two people reported being the victim of violent crime – eight people were murdered, fourteen were raped, three-hundred and two people were robbed, and 178 were victims of felony assaults.

The author neglected, as well as he should, what the crime stats of 1993 in parks were.

Reading the papers, usually the NY Daily News, I started tearing some articles from the papers, putting together a roughshod crime blotter, and couldn’t help but noticed a disturbing trend in contrast to the sunny touting of lower crime stats by city officials and their parts gleeful and exasperatingly relieved expressions. These various crimes were happening frequently in less niche areas of Brooklyn, Southeast Queens which has seen a gradual increase in brazen criminal activity and The Bronx is still experiencing high criminal activity. As well as locales with high rental market rates and areas targeted for gentrification.

  • A 71 year old woman was attacked by a mother at a 2nd avenue station in Manhattan for suggesting teach her child some manners after the two barged into an elevator as people were exiting. A 40 year old man kicked a pregnant woman on the 4 line.

All these run the gamut of rampant criminal activity, which can easily be overlooked from the high towers constructed in the past decade from hyper development and the influx of billions of tourists tramping on every crevice and crack of the city like it’s some fucking six flags theme park or universal studio exhibit.

There are crime trends that is seemingly not being addressed. Especially on attacks and robberies on the elderly and rapes attempted and committed on women. The dramatic rise of splinter gangs. There are also a lot of home invasions. And a lot of these crimes are happening in daylight. Also in consideration, is the dramatic rise in child abuse, which has been enabled by criminal incompetence and neglect by the ACS. Two high profile cases, Zymere Perkins and Jaden Jordan, just got upgraded to murder.

What is more disturbing is that the omniscient presence of surveillance cameras is not even deterring these acts of senseless and random violence and robberies. As a lot of these crimes take place in full view of them Take for instance this incident in the Bronx, in similarity to the L.E.S. beat down above, where a food delivery guy was beaten, stripped and robbed in an apartment building by 2 lowlifes, a man and a woman, as a bunch of jackasses hanging in lobby just watch. That couple actually went inside the building after the attack as if they lived there.

It would be easy to dismiss this as hyperbole, but add the scandal that is the homeless census of 60,000 plus, the massive discrepancy of wealth, the horrendously ignored ssituation of a majority of rent-burdened citizens and these are not the best of times despite how comparably safer it is than it was 24 or even 34 years ago when crack was on the streets. Although it should be mentioned that heroin is back in a big way, similar to the rocks sold back then in that it’s cheaper and diluted.

This is going to get worse if those in city hall, the higher echelons of the NYPD, and all these demented city planners with lysergic visions to turn the boroughs into an interconnected social networking wonderland ever acknowledge the problems of the people that make this city truly run and hold steady in the first place. And cease bringing up the bad old days already, it’s bad enough you people actually put up a photo exhibition for a few hours in the Brooklyn Museum, only to dismantle it when the Blaz’s press gaggle was done and throw it down the memory hole.

This digital publication will make sure of that. Hence the post title. Let’s be careful out there. And be aware of your surroundings. Because our elected oblivious overpaid officials surely won’t.

New Bad Days 1: Gang Of Vile Shitheads Brutally Assaults And Robs Handicapped Man With His Own Cane After Victim Offers To Buy Them Food

snapshot.jpg

snapshot.jpg

CBS New York

Ditmars Park, Brooklyn, N.Y.

According to two reports, on March 1st, in a fried chicken and burger restaurant, a man with a cane offered to buy two other men behind them food, which the perpetrators saw as a slight and proceeded to assault him with kicks and punches. As the victim attempted to fight back, two more men rushed in and aided in the pummeling of the disabled man. As the beat down ended, another man came in and robbed the victim when he was on the floor.

From the agility these bastards displayed and all the leather they were wearing, they did not look malnourished in the slightest. This attack was possibly premeditated. Yet another senseless gang attack occurrence.

editors note: these incidents will be numbered, like UFC fight events. Being that these happenings have acts of wanton brutality in common

ANOTHER BREAKING DOWN OF DONALD’S “AMERICAN CARNAGE” INAUGURAL SPEECH – AIN’T THIS WHAT MANY OF YOU WANTED – TALK ABOUT GETTING BAMBOOZLED AND CONNED BIG TIME

This great insight of Donald’s speech (I can’t call him President, it just does not fit this Greatest Con man of the 21st century) comes from the newest blog about Queens, Impunity City

Enjoy. I certainly did and enjoy everything this person writes, plus his vast knowledge of pop culture references.

And by the way all you Trump supporters out there, this has nothing to do with being “sore losers” as many of you “losers” are stating. This is about America, Freedom, Democracy and having a totally unfit, unqualified, ignoramus & dangerous clown as the leader of this country. Oh and it also has to do with saving the planet, you know that little thing we live on, that thing your kids and grandchildren will inherit. I mean, this clown does not even believe in climate change and how we are destroying the planet, again, the place that we all live on. I think for you god fearing assholes, this would be a big issue, because according to you it was god who created the world and asshole Trump could destroy it with his bad policies that he is already putting in place in  a matter of four fucking years. THINK ASSHOLES of the ASSHOLE you put into office, but, WHAT, ME THINK.

The President’s Speech And You…The People

Washington D.C., U.S.A.

President Trump. Throwing his gunz in the air.

That was some speech he wrote and gave. Well, not really. Outstanding speech. The greatest speech with the greatest words ever to emit from the greatest and now most important mouth. The nation should be ever so grateful that President Donald Trump didn’t waste those promises and bromides on his twitter feed, maybe for the only reason is that some paragraphs of it exceeded 140 characters.

Now that I got the sarcasm (don’t call it snark, ever) out of the way, which is wont to do thanks to pervasive social media’s message and comment boards, it’s time to break it down to brass tacks.

Today’s ceremony, however, has very special meaning because, today, we are not merely transferring power from one administration to another or from one party to another, but we are transferring power from Washington, D.C., and giving it back to you, the people.

That bold line got a lot of play somehow

Maybe the president thought it would have better context on the inaugural podium than some super villain pulling off a prison break.

For too long, a small group in our nation’s capital has reaped the rewards of government while the people have born the cost. Washington flourished, but the people did not share in its wealth. Politicians prospered, but the jobs left and the factories closed. The establishment protected itself, but not the citizens of our country. Their victories have not been your victories. Their triumphs have not been your triumphs and, while they celebrated in our nation’s capital, there was little to celebrate for struggling families all across our land.

What truly matters is not which party controls our government, but whether our government is controlled by the people. January 20th, 2017, will be remembered as the day the people became the rulers of this nation again. The forgotten men and women of our country will be forgotten no longer.

Everyone is listening to you now. You came by the tens of millions to become part of an historic movement, the likes of which the world has never seen before. At the center of this movement is a crucial conviction that a nation exists to serve its citizens. Americans want great schools for their children, safe neighborhoods for their families, and good jobs for themselves. These are just and reasonable demands of righteous people and a righteous public, but for too many of our citizens, a different reality exists.

JFK gets flipped there. Ask not what you can do for your country, ask what you’re country can do for you. (This was from a comment by Helen Steeply on Gothamist)

Mothers and children trapped in poverty in our inner cities, rusted out factories scattered like tombstones across the landscape of our nation, an education system flush with cash, but which leaves our young and beautiful students deprived of all knowledge and the crime and the gangs and the drugs that have stolen too many lives and robbed our country of so much unrealized potential. This American carnage stops right here and stops right now.

American carnage is a bit much, but the President loves hyperbole, he wouldn’t be here there right now without it. And American Carnage would be a great name for a death metal band. It’s very encouraging that he finds all students beautiful now, because he used to have very high standards of beauty

We are one nation and their pain is our pain. Their dreams are our dreams and their success will be our success. We share one heart, one home and one glorious destiny. The oath of office I take today is an oath of allegiance to all Americans. For many decades, we’ve enriched foreign industry at the expense of American industry, subsidized the armies of other countries, while allowing for the very sad depletion of our military.

He also would not be there without resorting to exaggeration. Our military is still the hugest in the world, and it only got huger thanks to the war on an idea terror.

We’ve defended other nations’ borders, while refusing to defend our own, and spent trillions and trillions of dollars overseas, while America’s infrastructure has fallen into disrepair and decay. We’ve made other countries rich while the wealth, strength and confidence of our country has dissipated over the horizon. One by one, the factories shuttered and left our shores with not even a thought about the millions and millions of American workers that were left behind. The wealth of our middle class has been ripped from their homes and then redistributed all across the world.

No argument there at all, this is why he won. It shows how damn lucky he was that Manifest Hillary and the DNC infiltrated the news media to malign Bernie Sanders. Because this paragraph reads like something pulled from his campaign platform.

But, that is the past and now we are looking only to the future. We assembled here today, are issuing a new decree to be heard in every city, in every foreign capital, and in every hall of power. From this day forward, a new vision will govern our land. From this day forward, it’s going to be only America first. America first. Every decision on trade, on taxes, on immigration, on foreign affairs will be made to benefit American workers and American families.

We must protect our borders from the ravages of other countries making our products, stealing our companies and destroying our jobs. Protection will lead to great prosperity and strength. I will fight for you with every breath in my body and I will never, ever let you down.

Those last lines loosely sound like songs by the Police and Taylor Swift. Prosperity and strength almost sounds Orwellian. Considering that Trump, his senior advisor son-in-law, and his plutocabinet themselves got strength through prosperity.

America will start winning again. Winning like never before. We will bring back our jobs. We will bring back our borders. We will bring back our wealth. And we will bring back our dreams. We will build new roads and highways and bridges and airports and tunnels and railways all across our wonderful nation. We will get our people off of welfare and back to work rebuilding our country with American hands and American labor. We will follow two simple rules: buy American and hire American. We will seek friendship and goodwill with the nations of the world, but we do so with the understanding that it is the right of all nations to put their own interests first.

Trump is either too reliant on or prefers the use of repetition and even redundancy to get his message and narrative across. And this part almost sounds like a classic rally fight but a misunderstood mockery of fascists Queen song. And when did we lose our dreams? To whom? Does that mean Trump will order the Pentagon to assemble a unit of Dream Warriors? And what’s with getting the people off welfare, doesn’t he and his plutocabinet know that  67,891,000 citizens of different races who bleed the same blood are on it. Certainly a lot of the people that voted for him are using it, and they most certainly are employed, and they have a right to use it, because it’s a benefit provided to the people of this country which negates his contradictory promise in spades.

We do not seek to impose our way of life on anyone, but rather to let it shine as an example. We will shine for everyone to follow. We will reinforce old alliances and form new ones and unite the civilized world against radical Islamic terrorism, which we will eradicate completely from the face of the earth. At the bedrock of our politics will be a total allegiance to the United States of America and, through our loyalty to our country, we will rediscover our loyalty to each other. When you open your heart to patriotism, there is no room for prejudice.

This is where it gets dicey. It takes a little sting off any subtle hints of fascism with the mentioning of a political bedrock buttressed by total and certainly unquestioning allegiance by prefacing not to impose. No doubt about the fight against radical religious terrorists, but the ways Trump and his advisors want to do it is just going to put gas on the fire by re-legalizing torture and supporting dictators like Assad. This has been suggested before.

The bible tells us how good and pleasant it is when god’s people live together in unity. We must speak our minds openly, debate our disagreements honestly, but always pursue solidarity. When America is united, America is totally unstoppable. There should be no fear. We are protected and we will always be protected. We will be protected by the great men and women of our military and law enforcement and most importantly, we will be protected by God.

Uh Oh. There’s the G word. Looks like Pence’s influence in the White House is strong here. It’s sad that the efforts of our military and cops across the nation have to be diminished by an omnipresent entity or theory.

Finally, we must think big and dream even bigger. In America, we understand that a nation is only living as long as it is striving. We will no longer accept politicians who are all talk and no action constantly complaining, but never doing anything about it. The time for empty talk is over. Now arrives the hour of action. Do not allow anyone to tell you that it cannot be done. No challenge can match the heart and fight and spirit of America. We will not fail. Our country will thrive and prosper again.

Very good point about spineless two-face officials, but people keep electing them over and over again. And if he thinks Obama couldn’t get shit done because of his party affiliations or possibly race, wait till he gets to deal with all the people he pissed off in the primary.

We stand at the birth of a new millennium ready to unlock the histories of space, to free the earth from the miseries of disease and to harness the energies, industries, and technologies of tomorrow. A new national pride will lift our sights and heal our divisions. It’s time to remember that old wisdom our soldiers will never forget, that whether we are black or brown or white, we all bleed the same red blood of patriots. We all enjoy the same glorious freedoms, and we all salute the same great American flag.

These are progressive plans which will be very challenging to accomplish since he’s planning to cut funding to NASA, health and energy departments. Or maybe he already did. As he already went back on his promise to start work on Monday. Nice sentiment there on uniting the races, but it sounds inspired by Michael Jackson. Bleed the same red blood. How cornpoke.

And whether a child is born in the urban sprawl of Detroit or the windswept plains of Nebraska, they look up at the same night sky. They fill their heart with the same dreams and they are infused with the breath of life by the same almighty creator. So, to all Americans in every city near and far, small and large, from mountain to mountain, from ocean to ocean, hear these words: You will never be ignored again. Your voice, your hopes and your dreams will define our American destiny. And your courage and goodness and love will forever guide us along the way.

There’s the C word, not courage, Creator.

Together we will make America strong again. We will make America wealthy again. We will make America proud again. We will make America safe again. And, yes, together, we will make America great again. Thank you. God bless you and god bless America. Thank you. God bless America.”

Isn’t it grand how he got to use his catchphrase at the end. Just like in the movies. Yippie kay yay motherfucker!

For a professional, and more thorough and astute analysis, read the one assembled by the staff at NPR. Better hurry fucking up, because President Trump is going to cut funding of that too, and will leave it open (more like vulnerable) to privitization. Which will lead to more dismissive tantrum lectures disguised as press conferences like that soulless patsy press secretary Sean Silver gave yesterday:

What makes this administration think they are going to get away with this?  More importantly, what makes them think this obfuscation is justified?

President Trump, through his petulant pissant proxy, is bawling about someone using their social media account made an observation about a huge (yuge is dead) contrast of the inauguration turnouts in 2009 and Friday. Which the new staff tried to correct by shutting down the twitter account the Dept. of the Interior from where it originated from.

CBS News

Trump’s Turnout Friday.

Obama’s Turnout 2009. Doh.

But thanks to National Parks, a shrewd journalist , the internets and the natural proclivity of millions of users to copy and paste, everybody in the world saw it and distributed it. Yet whiny Seanny Spice pathetically tried to dervishly spin it, using the rubric of fake news to point out the tarp and security measures, made it look smaller than 2009’s historic turnout for the first African American president. These fools are confusing grass with bodies.

Sean also found time to tell the press, thinking his position in Trump’s cabinet makes him the universal editor in chief and executive producer of print and TV journalism, to admonish them for neglecting to diligently cover the cabinet confirmation hearings in the senate which Trump Sean thinks is taking too long. Maybe if they were available for the initial provisional ethics reviews and their testimonial obtuse responses and abject refusals to answer questions in the hearings, this wouldn’t be a problem would it.

The biggest standout of these hearings, in terms of pop culture history because that’s where I am a viking, is when Billionaire Betsy “The Destroyer” Devos was questioned   about the proposal of dropping gun zone restrictions around schools:

Grizzly bears. So Ms. Davos, Amway Heiress, is using the same rationale that Ralphie used to subtly hint his parents in getting him a Red Rider Rifle in “A Christmas Story”

christmas-story

If there is any bright side to the arrival of this demented legion excuse of an administration, is that they are the stupidest bunch of grifters ever to attempt to take advantage of system and government largesse. Let’s hope all of the people of this nation notice it, and all those in Congress, the believers, the hacks if they still have a conscience, refuse and resist them. President Trump, according to the speech he let Bannon write, should empathize and do a serious and thorough enema of his atrocious picks. Unless the motive all along is just to waste taxpayer time.

That’s not a prudent way to drain the swamp. When you try to absorb it with bags of dead dicks and shit.

2016: A YEAR OF DEATHS OF SOME OF THE MOST INFLUENTIAL PEOPLE ON THE PLANET ALONG WITH THE DEATH OF SHAME, MANNERS, CIVILITY, CULTURE IN ALL WALKS OF LIFE

2016 was a horrible year  every which way you look at it and in every walk of life from culture to politics and everything in between. From the death of civility, especially in politics to the death of some of the most iconic, talented and influential people from every corner of music to the national spotlight, we lost so many and Death kept at it all the way to New Year’s Eve with the death of Mash actor William Christopher, 84 (Father Mulcahy). Every year there is always major deaths and lots of them, but none quite to this level of extraordinary people from the beginning of the year with David Bowie to the end of the year with Golden Age Hollywood actress and icon, Debbie Reynolds 24 hours within the death of her daughter an icon in her own right, Carrie Fisher.

Unfortunately, with the aging baby boomers and the few Golden Age celebrities in their 90’s, Norma Lear & Carl Reiner (94), Mel Brooks (90) to celebrities in their 100’s, Kirk Douglas & Olivia DeHaviland (100) and Professor Irwin Corey (102), years like 2016 will be the norm.

For us tail end baby boomers, our youth is disappearing right in front of us.

But hey, it is just LIFE, not to be taken that serious.

From Impunity City, new local blog extraordinaire:

Blackstar List

2016 took a lot of icons that had a heavy influence in their selected fields, from music, film, writing, news, sports and politics.

David Bowie, 69, Rock Star And Legend, The Man Who Fell To Earth, made a bunch of the greatest albums of all time: Hunky Dory, The Legend Of Ziggy Stardust And The Spiders From Mars, Alladin Sane, Low, Heroes, Scary Monsters, and Blackstar (Even in death, still shaping pop culture) and tracks of all time: Changes, Rebel Rebel, Life On Mars, Oh You Pretty Things, Jean Genie, Fame, Fashion, Heroes, Sound And Vision, Let’s Dance, The Man Who Sold The World, Stay, TVC 15, DJ, Look Back In Anger, Young Americans, Stay, Golden Years, Moonage Daydream, Starman, etc. etc. and Lazarus

Prince Rogers Nelson, 57, R&B/Rock/Pop/Funk/Disco Star, Multi-instrument Player. Arguably the greatest live performer in the past century. Shockingly died by suicidal overdose. I come to this theory because in his last months on this mortal coil, he almost die while on an airplane, and announced to fans at one of his last shows that he couldn’t play guitar anymore. The fact that he was found dead in the elevator of his massive recording studio eerily resembled his lyrics in “Let’s Go Crazy”:

If the elevator tries to bring you down, go crazy, punch a higher floor. And when he O.D.d he did.

In 5 decades he made some of the greatest albums: Dirty Mind, 1999, Sign Of The Times, Parade, The Gold Experience, Graffiti Bridge, and the last great Renaissance Piece of music and film, Purple Rain, and singles and tracks or all time: Partyup, When You Were Mine, I Wanna Be Your Lover, I Feel For You, 1999, Little Red Corvette, Lady Cab Driver, Free, Let’s Go Crazy, Erotic City, When Doves Cry, Take Me With U, I Would Die 4 U, Kiss, Raspberry Beret, Pop Life, Controversy, Sign Of The Times, Adore, Starfish And Coffee, Hot Thing, U Got The Look, If I Was Your Girlfriend, Gold, Shhh, etc, etc, and Purple Rain.

Sir George Martin (Beatles Producer), Alan Rickman, George Kennedy, Patty Duke, Pat Harrington, Don Calfa (Ozone Park Native, The Corpse of Weekend At Bernie’s),  Garry Shandling, Abe Vigoda, Ron Glass, Alan Vega (Suicide), Vanity, Harper Lee, Edward Albee, Robert Vaughn, Maurice White, Malik “Phife Taylor, Ken Howard, Merle Haggard, Doris Roberts, Morley Safer, Juan Gabriel, Gordie Howe, Jo Fox (British Parliament Labour Party Member, assassinated a short time before the Brexit decision), Gordie Howe (the great one before Gretzky), Joe Garigiola, Lonnie MacIntosh, Joanie “Chyna” Lauer (pro wrestling champion, overlooked female pioneer), Scotty Moore (Lead guitarist for Elvis Presley), Garry Marshall, Elie Weisel, Fyuvish Finkel, Gwen Ifill, John McLaughlin, Gene Wilder, Bill Nunn, Jean Shepard (A Christmas Story narrator), Arnold Palmer, Thomas Ford, Pete Burns (Dead Or Alive singer), Kevin Meaney, Shimon Peres, Brooklyn DA Ken Thompson…

… and Muhammad Ali, The Greatest Of All Time

Last year also saw the demise of shame, culture, ethics, morals, honesty, hope, privacy, and affordability. Although those are just things that can be revived if as a nation we all…

THE DIRTY SOUTHEAST QUEENS – THE BASTARD SON OF QUEENS ALWAYS GETTING THE SHIT END OF THE GHETTO STICK

Coming to you from the latest SE Queens blog, Impunity City, a great must read for SE Queens folks.

——————————–

From Impunity City:

Mario’s Sons’ Holiday Dick Moves

Andrew Cuomo. Governor of the state of New York, colossal prick.

The last few weeks have seen a flurry of sudden proactivity from the son of Mario, Governor Andrew Cuomo. Although it truly cannot cloak the sorry desperation inspiring it. This is following the recent indictments of all his long-time cronies consisting of his honorary brother, Joseph Percoco and his favorite visionary guru,  Alain Kaloyeros (“He has economic visions that other mere mortals can’t actually see”  not long ago remarked, Andy) in the ambitious and now squandered Buffalo Billion solar power venture upstate.

After Mario’s son somehow escaped unscathed from the thievery committed by those idiot assholes, who have ties that go back when his dad in the 90’s, Andy somehow had an epiphany that a lot of services and other programs he has jurisdiction, make that lord over, were way behind schedule.

So he deigns to come down to the city and demands that the century long dormant 2nd avenue line must get done, stat. Suddenly, what was a dark and hazardous 40 block gauntlet for a year got fast-tracked and will make it’s new year’s day opening. How this happened was miraculous, as there were 5 times more contractors than before and the streets were clear a week after Mario’s son made his walk through underground. Stupidly sans helmet of course. The stations, for some reason, contains wall to wall modern art displays by the top artists of today which includes Chuck Close. Some of them look like Banksy rip-offs. Which may be the reason why there were so many delays and costs getting higher trying to complete this on schedule, in addition to the cars unable to fit through the tunnels. Andy was so agog he came off like an auctioneer trainee at Sotheby’s when he was describing it, or an unscrupulous realtor trying to swindle some hipsters at an overpriced 5 story walk-up studio apartment with graffiti on the side of the building. But more like Ralphie’s dad from A Christmas Story when he got his major award.

From Curbed:

“The Second Avenue subway provides New Yorkers with a museum underground and honors our legacy of building engineering marvels that elevate the human experience,” Cuomo said in a statement. “Public works projects are not just about function—they’re an expression of who we are and what we believe. Any child who has never walked into a museum or an art gallery can walk the streets of New York and be exposed to art and education simply by being a New Yorker. That is where we came from and that is what makes New York special.”

The last time expression like this was used on our trains was a thing called graffiti, an art form while reviled, despised and persecuted, was representative of the blighted and broke although way more creative times of that era, and is a certainly an influence on the artists contributions to these stations. That will inevitably will be defaced by other expressionist types or by the effects of continuing income inequality with people looking for a place to sleep and place their shopping cart of recyclables and personal belongings. And piss and vomit too. One installation actually shows the effect of papers being blown from the subway, so when real newspaper detritus is thrown away on the platform or from the streets it will blend in seamlessly.

The last time the governor got really needy for efficiency of our transit system was when the 7 extension to the hudson got done, subsequently and immediately there were leaks and escalator breakdowns. This rush job is already getting complaints without even running, since all those workers were so busy getting the roads done they forgot to cut a block long curb.

Now that it’s done after a century of misfortunes and fiscal neglect, well not really done,  the original plan was to get to 125st, but they broke it in phases, and I have to wonder if Mario’s son, Governor Andy, will take his new found proactive helmetless casual Friday style down to the Dirty Southeast Of Queens and get a look at the Lefferts Blvd. station. Where it takes longer to build a pair of stairs than it is to stuff big trains into little tunnels and have big time artists take months making portraits of themselves.

This was supposed to be completed by Thanksgiving, it should be noted that the other staircase was supposed to be finished last year too and got done in fucking June. I don’t have much hope for the MTA, the worst fucking transit system in the universe, to get it done, even if they have the technology for time travel. Look at that sign taped indelicately to the partition wall.083

That’s right, January 2016. That is just awfully discouraging. If only the governor makes the time to assemble a garrison of contractors down to Richmond Hill to fix this miscue.

But that’s a long shot, because these images were taken today, and Mario’s son had to go back to Albany to deal with his new assembly leaders for a new salary. The recently frugal and diligent governor did some flexing and refused to give these officials the raise they actually don’t deserve, even though these positions have not had a substantial pay increase in 40 years. Being the amount of corruption that has gone on and the recent busts of Skelos and Silver and dozens of others, Andy gets to be a hero here with the optics of his decision because these electeds aren’t actually fighting for $15. Unfortunately this has led to a legislative lockdown coming at the expense of startup business and the slight chance to alleviate the monumental homeless crisis in the 5 boroughs.

Andy, apparently still in the zone and a sudden awareness for ethics and accountability, will appoint a special pseudo independent prosecutor answering only to him to overlook any profligate spending by the assembly. This from the guy who terminated the last independent investigative body of his adminstration, the Moreland Commission, which did it’s job too well and got to close to Andy. Something of this nature is akin to being unconstitutional.

With the new year and state of the state address coming, he has embraced populism and wants to engage with the norms (that’s citizens, or people to us, the norms) for 6 individual speeches in different locales. Keeping up his unconstitutional and hubristic theme and taking an American custom as addressing the status of the state and reducing it to going on the lam. Is he trying to avoid being in Albany?

Well, I hope one of his stops is this slow crawl renovation. Because this station is in a heavily and densely populated town. And it gets really cramped and intolerable going up and down those stairs when the train arrives. So get down here and bring your contractor battalion and build these stairs and have them clean that pigeon shit-sty by the turnstiles, Governor. If you really are the governor.

ANOTHER NOTEWORTHY LOCAL BLOG “IMPUNITY CITY” WORTH READING TO FIND OUT THE REAL SCOOP ON NYC BULLSHIT THAT THE REGULAR MEDIA (ESPECIALLY LOCAL) KEEPS IGNORING

Image result for real news for real people

The local media in SE Queens is atrocious at times, if they are not sensationalizing a story with screwed up facts (Queens Courier), pandering to local politicians (Queens Press, which Senator Comrie’s wife works for) or criticizing local residents when they complain about justified glaring ongoing quality of life issues not being addressed (Queens Times Ledger),  not hitting hard enough because they are afraid to offend (Communities of Color),  they are just not digging deep enough or following up on stories like why NYPD and elected officials are not addressing properly “illegal truck driving on residential streets ” or “auto body shops and dealers who place their junked and unlicensed cars all over public streets and sidewalks” or hammering hard all the crooked do nothing elected officials in the dirty Southeast Queens and. Sure they are fine to get a little overview, but if you are looking for substance or in-depth no holds barred reporting on issues that affect us regular folks, then time to go to local blogs like Queens Crap, the granddaddy of focusing on local issues, Progressive Queens, Jeremiah’s Vanishing New York, New York Shitty, Newtown Pentacle, and Project Woodhaven  to name a few. My morning starts off with going right to Queens Crap.

Well now there is another blog to add to this list and one that I have been waiting for, since I have been following comments on various sites by this person for some time. Always on the mark, highly intelligent and well read, plus an affinity for pop culture, this individuals blog is now here, which began in November, although from reading his comments for some time now, it was just a matter of time:

IMPUNITY CITY

which states “A weekly update on the myriad injustices and exploitations of sell-out elected officials, voracious multinational corporations, soulless manipulative lobbyist firms and individual craven corrupt recidividists with ruminations on culture decay and fond nostalgia.”

With a city that seems so out of control, where the inmates are running the asylum and nowhere is that more prevalent than in the Dirty Southeast Queens (which this individual coined), where local media rags like Queens Courier and Times Ledger just are not doing responsible in-depth reporting (with follow up) on the important issues of the day, where elected officials (both Republicans & Dems) have been feeding us bullshit for decades and where too many people are getting news from Facebook (Zuck should be ashamed of the whole ‘fake news” bullshit) and our next President, con man Trump, gets his news from “And I heard….” and is has a twitter addiction, it is great to be able to read another source that actually focuses on the issues at hand that affect our communities (and beyond) and tells it like it is with facts and reality and does not pander to elected officials or is afraid of rocking the boat. We are in dire times (which has been building for over a decade) and we can no longer count on especially local news to give us the REAL SCOOP and DIG.

BUT remember, it is good to read as much as you can from conservative to liberal and everything in between to get the whole picture and hear from those you may disagree with. Don’t just stay in your own little bubble.

WELCOME IMPUNITY CITY (great name).
